    Abstract

Here's what you'll want to buy: at least one pair of voluminous twill "Harlow" pants, a knee-length slim tweed "executive" skirt with demure side slit, an ankle-length side-sliced crepe walking skirt, a ribbed merino turtleneck and matching ribbed sash, a mohair funnelneck, a melton short peacoat or long officer's coat, and maybe, just maybe, a shearling jacket in pale blonde, riper celadon or blooming iris. From the shearling "body warmers" (vests) to the mohair twill low-slung pants, from the tweed A-line skirts to the knit cap-sleeve dresses, from the quilted leather hooded coat to the white cotton stretch shirt and chiffon floor-skimming ballerina skirt, the collection was simply smashing.
